ok managed to speak with Graham....
He'll be in contact soon with people he's already been in touch with.
Seem's he has been given somewhat more restrictive invites so everyone might not get an invite onto the PH stand.
I think hos hands are somewhat tied by the organisers....
Thought that must be it. Thanks for clarifying Chris.

Thats understandable, particularly with the time it takes to file through, be introduced, park up etc.
The event is getting quite big, one of my customers car dealerships is having a stand which is unusual for this show.

Yep, I do remember the queue to get in a couple of years ago, watching the temp gauge going up and fuel gauge going in the opposite direction!

I'm meant to be taking a couple of cars down, received a call just to confirm the years of manufacturer a few weeks back. Just wondered if anything will be sent out in advance as to arrival etc??

Who was the call from? Graham on here or someone else from elsewhere?

Damn good question, I think it may have been Graham but alas my memory has escaped me. What's the best way to contact him? I'm happy to PM you the vehicle details if you are in contact with him?

Best bet it to send an email thru here to V8S:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem...
That's Graham's profile and you can email him via a link off their.
I'm out for a few days so if I do it they could be quite a delay.
Hope that helps.

He did drop me a mail with the timings and asking which meeting point I'd be at.

Anyone can obviously go and you can pay to get into the public parking area and access all the areas once in etc.
Graham has a small area for a few cars and this is by invite only. As the years have gone by the type of cars wanted by the organisers of the event has become more specific on their request so hence only a specific group/type of car can get in via this particular route.
In that sense a bit like Wilton House.

Will be interesting to see what their definitions of sports and supercars are this year. Hopefully it will be some rare and interesting stuff rather than cars you can just walk into a showroom and order.

I'm hoping it's going to be slightly cooler than last year, it was a real scorcher!

What ! Your plastic kit car on an aluminium tea tray gets in, when my highly sophisticated gentlemans classic sedan doesn't ?
What about motorsport heritage, it clearly counts for nothing !

As you drive in, I shall hold up a nice big sign (that I make at home) just saying "Splitter"....... bloody judean peoples front.

Its a fix !

Could be worse: it could be a plastic car on a steel ladder chassis!

"Where's the popular front of Judea?"
"He's over there"

Not quite sure what cars that would be, as the vast majority of cars you can walk into a showroom and order surely? Including mine and every other Lambo that would be there.

So who is actually going from Cornwall/Devon? Whether it be in the PH area or Public parking?
