prescott revival August 10th
Discussion
Definitely a no go for me now, just way too crap weather
Unfortunately 'we' have plans this afternoon even if it did clear up then (which looking at the current forecast seems unlikely)
Gutted for event organisers this weekend, we have :
Prescott
Castle Hill
Wilton
All pretty much ruined
:-(

I went up after 1pm. The track was drying (apart from one downpour). I did 8 runs mostly with passengers paying for the ride.
Track was slippery under the trees. Not a day for the sports button and tc off! Car was a little squirmy at times but easily controlled.
Loads of Marcos' and some nice GD 70's amongst others.

I managed 5 runs this year .yes it rained from time to time but still had a fantastic day got some video's to upload later

Managed 20 plus runs in my evo 6 sprint car- mostly paid for by passengers- It was like having my own private hillclimb event in the morning
It was great to look around the cars and talk to a few fellow car enthusiasts,
I was gutted i couldnt stay for the afternoon runs.
It was a bit twitchy in the downpoor but nothing 4wd and some brave pills couldnt overcome- would of liked a few dry runs tho.
Would have loved a passenger ride in the AC cobra and the Lola that showed up=they sounded awesome!!
Would be great to see the pics from the day if anyone has some?
It was a great, well run event and i'd like to say a big thanks to all those who organised and made the event happen.
Big thumbs up to the Marshall's who stood out in all weathers so that a few of us could keep having a go up the hill...
I'm looking forward to next years meet already.
Cheers Jamie

We missioned it up after lunch. Took 2 hours due to e M5 being rammed, so we went through Bristol, which saved a fair bit of time surprisingly! Only arrived at 1530, but we managed 3 runs up the hill. As previously stated, it was a bit wet under the tree's, but that just added to the fun, especially as I've got rwd this year . Only car I recognised was thechav's Skyline (I was the one in the black Z4 coupe, who let you in whilst queuing for your 2nd to last run!). I saw blueg33 in the queue, but didn't realise you had an Evora! Lovely car .
Anyway, here's a few pics from the last 30 minutes of the day! Hopefully we'll get better weather next year!

Hi High Flier, likewise I didnt realise it was you in the Z4 Coupe. I recognised the Chav's car but I am rubbish at recognising people and then applying the correct name/user id to them!Anyway, here's a few pics from the last 30 minutes of the day! Hopefully we'll get better weather next year!
I have had the Evora since March, its a great car, that was my first time on a track with it, so I was pretty careful/gentle. Its handling is amazing, I need to get it on a dry track
