Anyone heading up this weekend?

Going up for a mooch, possibly a few runs up the strip.

Ian and I are going up, taking the GTR and starlet. Weather forecast is drier as day goes on, so probably go up to Exeter Services for 10am, then go to Smeatharpe from there. Racing is all day so seems pointless rushing up in morning when weather rubbish. Ian gonna run starlet if weather reasonable

Never made it to one of these days yet .and wont make tomorrow either grrrrr I have to get the ready for next weekend have a great time hope the sun comes out

Ian and I went today, was dry all morning, then down came the rain, true to form for Smeatharpe. Luckily it passed over and the sun came out and dried everything out again. Good turnout today with 66 entries in the drag. They did as asked and split it into classes. up to 1.6L, up to 2Litre and over 2Litre. Ian won the up to 1.6Litre class in his 1.3 Starlet with a time of 14.63seconds for the quarter mile. His best time at this event has been 14.43seconds, so wasn't quote at his best but nevertheless a good result.

Next event is on 11th October......
