Amazed you have not. Lots of bloody good roads, and as it's only 30 mins away the best local roads you can say

Even the single track narrow crap roads are bloody brilliant.

It's genuinely difficult to find a bad road once you get to the Breacon area and head in any direction. Still want to tick off the Black Mountain road mind... could be a starter?

Looks like we need to set up a Chepstow meet, to Usk, Abbergvenny for a brekky then maybe up to Elan vally which is lovely for a run when it's warmer

You bloody bunch of tarts wear a fking vest or something!

Failing that ride faster so you get to the destination sooner with less heat loss so you can warm up with a bacon roll and a cuppa wink

You FWB miss out on all the fun... I managed to powerslide my VFR in the greasy conditions today! Not intentionally and after the fear went away I rode off feeling like a new contender for Marquez hehe

Woah woah! I never claimed to be a badass, a hero maybe but no badass wink

It is greasy but good tyres and a steady hand is all that's needed. I don't necessarily enjoy it but it's good experience.

Why ride in the wet and cold when you can have fun if you have other toys to enjoy.

I will be enjoying my GT86 over the winter. Heated seats fun car. Even my Kit car will not be used as much over the winter with lack of heater, wipers, roof etc...

I commuted a few years on the bike. Not fun at all for me. if it's dry and sunny on a colder winter day then the bike may come out. if not I have other fun things to enjoy

Tom do you drive? I only ask as I now many people who are hard as nuts and ride all year. Mainly as they can't drive.
Just asking smile

Yep only a bike licence for me, it's not that I don't want to drive the main factor is cost.

Especially considering I can buy and run a second bike for less than car insurance alone!!

My GT86 brand new cost me £400 fully comp with Protected NCB. My fireblade cost me the same amount to insure as my Kit car. under £200.

But i'll keep my heated seats and keep my heater on until we get warmer temps and it's going to be more fun for me to ride

I cut about Wiltshire on a Yellow GSXR biggrin much more visible than the black XJR1300 I rode into the side of a Wessex Water van in February!
