I saw the original video and didn't know it had gone to court with the threat of a jail term.

I am surprised at the potential severity of the punishment but the circuit should also have a slap on the wrist for leaving track access open, were the marshals asleep on the job?

Ive known people literally get lost and end up in the pits (Aston Martin guests at Le Mans for 1 example) but they all stop and dump the cars, a clear mistake.

If you watched this video, it was no mistake. The guy boasted about it afterwards saying he lived every day to the max and had no regret....... all of a sudden changed his mind in court.

Immature yes, but his actions are his actions, time to pay for them.
