This looks very interesting and we'll be at the sporting bears charity ball that night - can we simply turn up and park (having paid of course)?

I'd be tempted to bring along the Noble and the Ultima if there's still space in the displays.

Cool look forward to seeing you there I.ll try and beat my time from last year
And of course your more than welcome to slide my r34 round if you want to
that's very generous of you though I suggest you watch me first before handing me the keys, not sure there will be enough space to slide an R34 ......

I will be in the green eunos grinning like an idiot

this is me at the Emergency Services show at Hullavington last month

I judged my performance on how many involuntary noises my passengers made :-)

Hi James, please do bring your cars for display. We have a 'Supercar Paddock' in front of the Strawford Centre building and next to the Lotus F1 car display and you are invited to park there.
We have over 60 cars on track with the widest choice you will ever see, including an Ultima Spider. If you fancy being driven round by an F1 driver, our Guest Driver is Slim Borgudd, who is definitely unique in that he not only drove two seasons in F1 (one of them for Tyrrell) but he was also the drummer with ABBA for a while!

No other need to pre-book, we're a bit more relaxed than that smile

Apologies for the slow reply Matt, we've had some interesting debate this week with the circuit owners about how noisy drifting actually is... However, we've reached a compromise which is to keep the Drift sessions to 15 minutes each x 3 sessions and to drift only one end of the course. We have reduced the suggested donation to just £25 to compensate our supporters. We're very grateful to the FCM Motorsport Drift Crew for their patience and understanding.

We have suggested an experiment to see just how noisy a V8 F1 car would be at Combe, so we may well fire up the Lotus for a cut round at about quarter to five smile There has been no comment from the circuit on this idea so far.

Brilliant day. Didn't get there until very late but bagged a lucky dip ride in the BTCC Civic. Ace fun. Looking forward to next years already!

Thank you for a fun set of laps and the variety of approaches to quarry... Some involving Tarmac all the way round... Fabulous day out and as a bonus I won the novice autosolo...

Ha! You're welcome. Unfortunately the state of my front tyres led to me having to adapt to insane under steer which got worse. I don't think we would have set a good lap time but fun was the objective!

For a old car it sure is quick. Im sure this is the same car that was on track at the same time as me at the forge action day a few week's ago and he shot passed me in my r34. So gutted I missed The day

Thoroughly enjoyed that.

12 passengers, 120 miles on track and I'm still knackered 24 hours later. biggrin
