Not the most exciting news, but im bored of looking at this forum every day and seeing "no meets" for me to attend (i'll organise one soon)

So while being bored, I have decided to stop calling myslf a name related to my car and then changing it every 2 years !

So Giles (aka LancerG, aka S2Giles, aka XKRGiles) will now be known as Midlifecrisis71. Hopefully for a long time.

See ya soon

Have you still got the evo?

I know what you mean about it being quiet on the meets front. We're off to Brandshatch for Modified Live on Saturday 8th November. There's then last drift and drag for this year on Saturday 15th November.

We'd be up for a meet towards end of November.... Be good to have a catch up with everyone.

PS. Name change suits you....lol!

Ah, good news Giles !! The upcoming meeting/drive, that is ! Yes, banter & action on SW P/heads has been very thin on the ground. If you'd like any input on a meeting, give me a shout.
Oh, im now known as "Old Guys Rule" as ive just had my
6..th birthday !

Nice one Steve, I like the name.

Meeting - I will probably organise a lunch meeting for Christmas, usually early December. Not sure if anything else is going on in November. I may have to do something along the breakfast meeting idea, maybe Exeter, Honiton & A303diner.
I am waiting for the SW facebook group to set the date of an upcoming event, as I don't want to clash etc.

I still have the evo, just fitted new shocks, some replacement bushes at the back and a service & MOT this week - so she's ready to roll after an unusual summer of being in storage and moving house !

What do you fancy

A drive and a nibble ?
Breakfast, Lunch or dinner ?

Options:
1. Meet Exeter - Head to Honiton A303 Diner for brekkie - drive chard road
2. Meet Exeter - Drive over moor for lunch at Bearslake Inn
3. Meet Plymouth - head to Route 38 Diner in cornwall for brekkie

Id love to come. But I've moved even further east ward so Devon I now nearly 3 hours away. That American style dinner would be great.

Any of those suits. If it's the Berslake then I'm sure MrsG would be interested too.

Do you have a date in mind, that's the one many will decide on.

I'd be up for the A303 diner. Somewhere I've always fancied dropping in when passing. Assume they do massive steaks! biggrin

Just a thought but how about Sunday 7th December, meet at exeter services at maybe 9am ? then drive for brekkie at 9.40 - 10.40 at the A303 american diner then drive to crewkerne & chard for those who want a drive ?

If it suits you guys I will post up a thread

Never yet found a decent road in that neck of the woods. Always seems to be traffic.
