The Museum Manager, I know her. She was on gate duty today, she also revived many comments about him from people attending as did the other staff. The have photos of him taken by the CCTv system as well so all staff are informed.

I really do not understand how he thought it was a clever thing to do, strange to make such a fool of yourself. Sadly it attaches a poor reputation to those guys with "similar" cars as well (such as the "drift types"), most of whom do not behave like that.

Missed this month as was elsewhere. Was it this mess?

Never seen any handbrake/donut stuff, just seemed to spend most meets driving up and down the road and occasionally looping through the car park.

Probably a good move on their part - only takes a few to start causing trouble for these kinds of gatherings.

Yep, same registration.

If you go to the Team Sliderz Facebook page you can see he's been changing bits round on it, and the silver wheels in the photo I took as well: https://www.facebook.com/TeamSliderz/

Can't say I'm too surprised, he's been doing some weird stuff for a while.

There were a few boy racer types in june reving it up and blasting up and down the road. If they want to do that the mcdonalds down the road may be more their thing!

Rear wheels from a scrappy smaller than fronts, wing was 10 days ago the side of ice cream van, let me guess Nankang ditch finders and claims 1001bhp with ebay mods!

Nice

Its this sort of thing that killed most of the car meets around Taunton. There is one at hankridge farm even have a food van etc (somerset car nuts) but looks 70% these type of guys so it will get ruin and police will have to come down Section 59 the lot.

Lets not forget if i turn up at the next meet i could video all sorts of cars revving and blasting off out of the museum junction.

Not just jdm or hot hatches but all sorts of cars with drivers of all ages so lets not start throwing stones.

That bonnet is not closed properly. Is that just sloppiness or is having your bonnet partially open 'a thing'?

I only went to June's, however no one when I was there did handbrake turns or drifting or any wheel spinning. There was one or two people who opened the taps in a controlled manor on the main road which is to be expected.

He is the second tool in a week from Yeovil who had been over Internet/social media for his driving and vehicle. Just last week some guy with blue lights and police website address for Yeovil had his car ceased and his Facebook was rammed with incriminating photos and videos.

I have seen many an event in south Somerset ruined by tools like this who think everyone is impressed with the fast and furious style antics. There is a reason those films are filmed under tight conditions and with professionally trained stunt drivers and fire and medics on scene. These idiots think they can master the technique in their local tescos and then put people's lives at risk at events like this. No doubt the next events will have police all over the A303 and incoming routes and anyone speeding will be caught and cars will be inspected, because one or two Boy racers who spoil it for the majority.

No need for the capitals , it impresses nobody.

I have no agenda , lets just all stop being so precious and offended.
The people who organise this meet haynes not pistonheads have dealt with it.

Lets just hope that nobody else ends up with video appearing of them giving it the beans out of the museum or moaning that the mobile camera caught them speeding.

But that is not what was filmed was it.......
I see you insist on being an apologist for dickery which shoves you right into the same bracket as the twunk in the film.
The conclusion to that being, you think it is OK and comparable.

I don't think it was designed to impress, more to put emphasis on particular words. He could have used bold or italic text instead, but that's a bit of a faff.

No the conclusion is those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

I'd hardly put me in the 'dickery bracket' i've never had any points in 25 years of driving so either I'm mr boring or very lucky , hardly drifting around a car park material.

I was at the ps cheddar meet and there were some interesting cars there stepping the back out however they weren't the evo's or the focus st club that rocked up no it was the more exotic stuff.

For the record i have nothing to do with skyline chap and yes if he was doing donuts then he was a prick.

However sometimes this forum will quite happily slag someone off for there actions in a cheaper car yet the same actions by someone in something more exotic is quite acceptable.
