Tudor Raj in Chipping Sodbury is doing a three course curry (starter, main course and rice) for £11.95 on a Monday and Tuesday night.
Anyone fancy coming along on Tuesday the 24th February?

Afraid I can't join you on this occasion. Obergrüppenfuhrer is working in Cyprus that week and I believe it is frowned upon to leave 5-year olds on their own, regardless whether they have paper, wood and matches to make a fire to keep warm...

I live five minutes away and I've chosen not to eat there for many years.
Maybe it's not so bad now.
Maybe.

I don't use the other Indian restaurant in town either.

Locally-ish, the Taj Brasserie used to be good but the last couple of times I've been there not so great.
Spice Mahal and Tamarind are very good - as you all know. smile

It's been a few years since I went there but food was good.
It was just an idea for a new venue and at £11.95 for the set meal you cannot really go wrong.
Ian, how long ago did you eat there?

hehe TBF, it's often busy so can't be all bad.
Maybe I'm just fussy.

Should we give it a go then? If it's no good we can cross it off the list.

Excellent!
Spoke to Rob and he is up for it as well.
I will book a table on Monday for 8pm on Tuesday evening.

The Grapes bar is a bit hit & miss whether it'll be open, but the new pub; The Horseshoe is 50 yards towards Sodbury centre on the opposite side of the road. A bit quirky but great real ales and ciders.
Even has lager beer for the ladies.
