The title says it all really. I have a dash cam and I'd like it hard wired. I have the kit but have fists of ham with fiddly things like electrics! It's also a lease car so needs to be done carefully smile

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Ta!

If it's a lease car I wouldn't be tempted to hardwire in "properly"

Might be better to use a spare unfused area on the fusebox and rig up the loom to it

Both my dashcams are hardwired in (one points out the back too) and both were done finding a switched live in the nearby loom (front uses headight wiring, rear uses wiper motor wiring) and they were spliced in with earths also being utilised. This is obviously a pretty permanent solution not recommended for a car you are handing back I suspect. It#s easy enough to tuck wiring behind roof lining and pillar trims, etc. smile
