Had an eventful day , lots of great cars and luckily for me lots of great people... Big thanks to Gary in the big torquey Range Rover for towing me to safety from the hard shoulder to the services and thank you for the offer of the lift to Cheddar. Thanks to all the guys for stopping to help and also waiting for me at Taunton. Thanks to Giles for the lift home in the Evo as it was well out of his way !
Thanks to Pete for being so understanding at my predicament clap
Big thanks to my beautiful girlfriend Lesley angel for offering to stay with the car while it was recovered , she is definitely a keeper wink

Great meet with a lot of amazing cars and noises today, although a little cold in the morning smile
I was in the Blue Exige S2. Never walked all the way up the car parks as my mate had twisted his angle.
Here are some of my pics from the day:
Cheers

Cheers Mate, I do love the Exige and it's awesome in the dry, can be a bit twitchy in the wet, but that's what the Evo is for wink
Take a look at all the different Specs and get one that suits you. I got the one with Sports pack as wanted to track it. I'm a member of SELOC lotus club and good for advice and classifieds.
Any questions get in touch on MLR or on here thumbup
Cheers

A good morning, but i was surprised, considering the warnings, that some people still decided to drive as quickly as they did through the gorge.
Agreed. Most were very sensible and safe with the vast majority not even moving their cars during the morning. But I did think a few were driving a bit unnecessarily fast considering it really isn't a suitable place for it. There are walkers, livestock and actually on the road (as there are barely any real paths down the gorge) and there were also hundreds of bikers and cyclists on that day.

Please everyone just be a bit sensible next time as it's such a brilliant place to meet, and the meets there are always great, but they could easily be blocked again if people felt that PH meets were causing safety issues etc.

Other than that (and it really wasn't that many cars or even that bad) it was a great day. Lovely weather once it warmed up and as always a great variety of interesting cars.

I was surprised by how great I thought the Huracan looked and sounded as I wasn't really a fan from pictures. The brown mexico was lovely too, and the baby blue Impreza and the big winged Atom, and a few others too I'm sure.

Maybe next time a bit of a run across the quieter and more open roads on the mendips could be arranged so people can let rip a little bit.
