Pretty sure Bath residents have to pay £160 pa to park outside their own house. I'd guess Bristol will be similar.

My 90 something year old Gran volunteered quite on her own initiative the other day that she thought these new speed limits were 'a bit slow' smile

Yes, tenants will get parking permits, but being there is insufficient parking spaces, moving their cars during the day for work, means there are no parking spaces at the end of the working day. As an owner of a block of flats, a permit will now cost me £240 per annum, also same cost for parking permits for contractors etc.

I think, that all a rival candidate will need to do to get him out come election time will be to promise that he will axe the 20 limit, and axe the RPZ's and I reckon most people would vote him in (Character permitting)
