I've a set of three piece wheel (some obscure French make - not image) which I need to get refurbished.
Does anyone know a firm in the south west by any chance? The south wester the better....

Thanks

I'm about to get mine done by a company called Pristine. got 4 lots going over. they pick up and deliver via an agent network.
I can post up here on the results once I get them back hopefully sometime next week?
Let me know.

Sorry for the slight hijack, but I've managed to kerb my mates z4 wheel today, so need to see about getting it put right. While the above link looks really top-job, its his daily, so somewhere more south-westerly rather than post off and wait would be ideal. (Anywhere between Bristol and Stroud ideally!) smile

Cheers,

Craig

The Wheel Specialist in Cwmbran would be my recommendation.

Although over the bridge the journey from Bristol is about 40 minutes and they'll have your wheels refurbished within the day.

I've now had 2 sets of wheels done and on both occasions they've done a sterling job.

I've recently used MyAlloys in Bristol who did a fine job on a set of alpina wheels, including some straightening.

Another recommendation for MyAlloys in Bristol. Refinished a set of one piece Porsche wheels and a set of split rim BBS wheels for me.

As Above Bob and his team from South west wheels is the best place by far, Ive used them for used on a mixture of different cars from stock vehicles to my personal vehicles, and the work is amazing!

My mate had his BMW split rims done at hoggy and Matthews in Plymouth. They did a really nice job and were exceedingly good value. They do loads of highly custom stuff- they don't have a proper website, but their facebook page has loads of stuff on...

How good are they? I've got 4 lots of bloody wheels to do and 2 sets are split rims, one being off the Lambo. So at least one set has to be absolutely perfect. Plus it needs to be an exact colour match to match the centres and from experience of other refrubers they often just have a selection of colours and won't necessarily match. PM if easier...

If your local id suggest you pop in and see him,and see his set-up they are based opposite the Audi Dealership in marshbarton in a large commercial unit, they have a massive selection of colours and there wheel prep and finishing is 1st class. They do a lot of work for the main agents and many times ive been in there ive seen everything from a new Ferrari to rangerovers..down to astras and focus's. well worth a visit.

Well sort of local Rick. Over the border in Cornwall, so over an hours drive to get there. Might see if I can tie it in with a trip. But thanks for posting as that's several excellent referrals. Obviously don't want the hassle of getting things redone, but it is kind of bearable on Subaru wheels but a big F*** up on the Lambo wheels and it would get very messy and costly for someone. So hence the slight nervousness in committing to someone I don't really know.

Best place to take splits IMO is Voodoo Motorsports. Elie is a wizard when it comes to split wheel refurbishment. Not in the South West but you won't go wrong with him.
