Best of luck with the weather over a week!

The fairground and everything else are only there to fill in the time for when the balloons can't fly and can be seen / tried at many other events. As I said earlier the morning ascents are the way forward, leave the rest to the hordes.

without the arrows and the eurofighter there wasn't much else to do or see I imagine, however the balloon launches remain a very unique spectacle which are well worth getting your arse out of bed for.

:-)

Agreed.

Having the eurofighter do it's turns over my Mum's place in Abbots Leigh was fantastic....

Agree with Obi

Dragged my backside out of bed and went to watch the morning ascent (I was one of the idiots parked on the dual carriageway around the bridge)

Fantastic views of loads of balloons without all the nightmare attached to the afternoon and evening

I did the same on Saturday morning. Fantastic views, if not the most sensible place to park!

Here's some very average photos taken by me on the Sunday, due to all the rain coming in the quality isn't the greatest. Waited all day to take photos and then the heavens opened! Hmph!
