Tunnel Run #2 - confirmed Sunday 18th October

Usual plan...Meet in Staples at the bottom of the M32 from 4pm, aiming to leave around 4:30 pm.

I'll have copies of the route instructions for those attending.

Do you reckon a navigator would be a handy thing to have ??

If you have one, it won't be a bad thing smile we've got a decent amount of regrouping points along the way so won't be an issue if you don't have one.

Synchromesh is on his way over, we're going to give the MX-5 a bit of tlc - hopefully see you at 4:30, unless we're knee deep in bits of door card. biggrin

No problem. If your on your way and want us to wait a few minutes just give me a shout. We'll be leaving just after 3:30 to make sure we're down there nice and early....Well that is assuming the rugby finishes by then!

Cheers Sandy - no need to wait for us, if we're not there then assume we're no shows. The Mazda's quite leaky in the rain anyway, so if it looks bad then we'd be bailing out early.

Hope to see you all later today, if not then next time biggrin

Hope it was a good run, James and I finished working on the Mazda at 5, so we spent the next hour retracing the old route to see if we could catch up with you guys - unfortunately, we didn't see anybody frown

Sorry. We didn't need many regrouping stops as there was only 4 cars in the end. We were up at Hambrook by 5:20.

Twice I have tried to get involved and do this and twice I have been thwarted by engine/car gremlins. Any chance it can be done again with some dry weather so we get a good turn out please???

Sorry have only just seen this thread revival :-)

I'm sure we can arrange something one evening...we usually do them later in the year, but can sort one earlier if there's enough interest.

Excellent! My veeeeehicle has no weather gear at all so I can only really do dry days, though I did survive 6 miles in that monsoon rain we had last week, God knows how as all the tin tops on the road had stopped and parked up due to not being able to see! I pushed on anyway, got flooded but got home, took 3 days to dry the car out but she made it and was back at Combe in no time!!! Good old ASBO!
