I'm not aware of any. I went to North Devon three weeks ago and thankfully was not closed going north, but going south had to come off and go around the lanes north of the 361 and then come back down the Dunster - Tiverton road.

Is it totally closed now? What are they actually doing?

Like TDIFurby, we didn't have any problem getting to north Devon. Coming back we took the scenic route through Exmoor - Simonsbath, Exford, Wheddon Cross then popping out and down to Taunton then back through the Somerset levels. It's a lovely route, not much traffic either.

It was open Westbound when I came back that way last Thursday. I assume it's still ongoing as the signs originally said for 4 months, about a month ago.

On the plus side the official diversion has some cracking roads just off from it (and is a decent road itself when it doesn't have everybody diverted onto it)

Still blocked southbound, in a different place now, further up for the diversion.

The diversion route works well tho and only adds a few minutes to your journey. Alternative from Barnstaple takes about 20 minutes longer, so i stick with the diversion.

Yes its 4 months from September !

Northbound is still fine

Be careful on the diversion route (the 'old' road) as there are some seriously bad potholes appearing on the nearside, the recent rains have opened up a few.
