Hello Guys/Girls,

I've posted sparodically on here, however I've just moved from Newcastle down to Weston-Super-Mare as I'm now working in Bristol post-university.

I don't really know anyone down here, so just wondering if any of you can fill me in on the goings on round these parts, and hopefully I'll get to meet you all at a few events.

If anyone is local and fancies a quick drive and a pint, let me know.

I drive a completely standard Puegeot 208 1.2, but hope to get something a little more classic in 2016.

Cheers all!

Tom smile

Welcome to the area.

Check out the last few pages on here for things going on.

your on PH so a petrol head.

May be worth a trip to Haynes Motor music in Sparkford.

Plenty going on, just depends on what you want to join in with

Get a few mates and make a night of it in Bristol or bath. Can be very fun

Not much going on in WSM in the winter I don't think.

Hi Tom.

Queens Square in central Bristol is the place to be every second Sunday of the month.

The Avenue Drivers Club hold their breakfast club there. You need to be there before 9 am and it's usually all done by 11 am but it's always worth a visit to see some great cars and chat with a few petrol heads.

Unfortunately you just missed one as the second Sunday was yesterday.

Here's a link to their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/BristolBreakfastClub/?fre...

....and if you're thinking of going to a football match do the right thing and watch Bristol Rovers and not that red lot who play down the road. I'll even buy you a pint of cider.

Thanks, it's abit of a change! I did see the breakfast meet page for that, I do plan on going to the next one in December, so i'll see you there if you're also attending.

I thought i'd try and contact likeminded people on here, as I've not really met anyone as yet!

I'm in Hutton, are you local to there?

Thanks XF,

Thanks for the tip, I'll make you I get myself to that, hopefully see you there!

Ha, noted on the football. I'm a Hull City fan (it's a long story), but I've lomg been a follower of my local side Bylth Spartans. Lower league football is cracking at the minute.

Not sure how far away you are from Hutton, but if you or anyone else fancies a quick drive or what have you, do let me know!
