I have ordered dry weather and a bit of sun for our run up to your place Dave for between 8am and 1pm so I am hopeful we will be ok!

As you know we all drive kits and crazy stuff so we are very weather dependant, fingers crossed it'll be dry. Atm it is actually looking promising.

If anyone else wants to tag along we are coming in convoy from The Cross Hands Hotel, Tetbury Road, Old Sodbury, Bristol BS37 6RJ and we will be leaving there at 8.30am sharp unless weather stops play, with the aim to arrive at The Weighbridge Inn around 9am like last time.

As it stands there are a fair few of us coming (about 15 cars, some with passengers), even more than last time (see pics earlier in this thread for the July meet)!

If anyone else wants to join the convoy please let me know via here or turn up between 8am and 8.15am at
The Cross Hands Hotel and introduce yourself to me, just ask for FHO or look for my car!!!! (a red exo-skeleton thingy)

Thanks all for tolerating an interloper (and his 5 year old...), we enjoyed ourselves - nice little gathering and location smile

Thank you Dave for yet another great gathering, we got lucky with the rain and only got a little wet. We managed to get some good pics at Kemble on the way home too.

Please thank your wife and staff for all their hard work, I'm sure you will seeing some of us again both at meets and at the pub for a meal sometime too. In the end I think we got something like £40 or thereabouts in the chairy pot Dave, not bad and more than a great deal for my guys!

I will post some pics here as soon as they are up on our kitnet forum.

All the best mate, see you again sometime if not this year then next or maybe at the next Queen Square breakfast meet in Bristol if you go to it??

I am said mate. Also a long time lurker and spend far too much time on here when I should be working!
Great to meet you all and congrats to all you topless guys that braved the weather. Top Morning!

Kate took them (Mike's Mrs), she is pretty nifty with that camera!

I'm sure there are plenty more that I have yet to see, especially from your place!

Sorry to have missed this one. An ill child and a sick Caterham were the two nails in the coffin. Next time, albeit in a dirty Audi I suspect.

Have a fab time Dave, be safe.

Fantastic choice of poem btw!.......

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Good excuse.
Makes a change from "dentist appointment" or "dogs got worms"!

Last Sunday this month is 27th, unless I'm missing something?

Just moved back to the area and my parents live just up the road from the weighbridge so, I'm hoping to pop along and say hi wavey
