Sherborne Classic Car Show 17th July - Need Cars For Convoy

Hi,

Each year I'm tasked with providing a tour of interesting PH cars as part of the attractions at the show.

We arrive in the middle of day with the crowds lining the entrance road, drive in past the commentary booth and park on the lawns. Each car's details are read out to the admiring spectators. A great benefit is we get into the show for free.

I'm looking for interesting cars to join the convoy - things that are rare, noisy, have great history or are spectacular. I'm looking for supercars, classics, hotrods, road-legal racing cars, Viper-engined cycle cars - something a PHer would flock to see.

i have an rx7 widebody that i take to meets and shows if you want something quite eye catching and different it might fit in. its running around 450bhp, has a custom interior and exterior.

here are some pics although im no photographer there are some nice ones on instragram from the recent haynes meet taken by bgs photography i think.

it may not be what you are looking for but if you would like me to attend i am only in weymouth so have no problem commiting to the day

Any more info on this, project thread etc? I'm Weymouth too, never seen something so interesting round here!

Got a link? Or do you need to be a member to view?

As far as I know other than seeing a few cars parked up at McDonalds/Sainsburys there isn't anything around? I usually end up going to Exeter/Bristol/Combe for anything decent!

I tend to go the other way to Wilton house, haynes motor museum try going on wessexcarclub.Com they go to a few places down south
