Blimey! - if everyone turns up this could be a cracker! Weather looks cracking Sunday Pm...
If everyone turns up, this will be one of the biggest yet!

Plus with this amount of cars it looks like I'm going to need a couple of helpers.... does anyone with knowledge of the previous runs or a good knowledge of Bristol fancy helping?
Happy to help in some way, but I don't know Bristol well and my memory is st so probably best I don't help on the route side of things!

A - Staples car park at the bottom of the M32, meeting around 4pm, aiming to leave for 4:30pm.

B - No need to wash it...I doubt I'll have time to wash mine smile

Got a very busy day fixing the car tomorrow

Cure miss firing only under full throttle
Though I think it's the map and lack of fuel or air

Split Oil cooler hose again

1 day this car will run correctly

Check the spark plug gaps first - if they're a little too wide, it's often enough for a miss on any engine under load - but esp. turbocharged cars IME. Close up a little if in doubt and try again (c.0.6-0.7mm)

Still hoping to make it but the weather in the afternoon doesn't look great yet again.

In the morning I will be at the Weighbridge Inn Minchinhampton Breakfast Club with a load of other cars for brekkie..... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Hopefully my car will not get drowned and I will be able to make the tunnel run in the afternoon

A very big thankyou to Sandy and her man (sorry but I don't know your name) for organising today's run. You certainly had your work cut out trying to herd all us sheep around but you did a great job. Thanks for organising it all, much appreciated!

Thank you all for coming along. Today was most probably the best turn out we've had for a long time.

I think we only lost a couple along the way, and only 1 breakdown which wasn't a porsche for a change smile

Just wanted to say thanks for organising such a great event! Shame about getting lost to start with! But overall it was a great way to spend an afternoon, looking forward to the next one.

It wouldn't be the same if no one got lost or broke down smile

I'm sorry I couldn't make it but at least some good came from me requesting that it be resurrected! Glad you all had fun. Now I have the same problem, I still have yet to make one of these!! So... can we do it again sometime please, preferably when it is not raining!!

S2000 looked awesome btw, wanted to have a quick chat at the pub but you had your food through so me being too polite left you to eat it in peace! Next time!

Hi all
Me and my uncle were down Bristol Sunday and we spotted all of you guys so we followed, we were in the black Toyota mr2 turbo, even though we weren't part of the even officially, I just want to say wow, it was a really good experience. Saw some beautiful cars and nice to see so many people together for this event.
Also is there any footage going online etc?
Cheers

Ahh that's how we picked up the MR2 smile There are a few pictures and 1 video at the moment over on the Facebook page. Search for South West Pistonheads Group...it's a closed group, so you'll have to request to join the group.
