Bristol Tunnel Run 2016

The Tunnel Runs are only once or twice a year, but there's always other events going on. There are a few monthly breakfast meets, plus various other gatherings.
Haynes is usually a pretty big meet each month, and a chance for the North South Westers (in and around Bristol) and the apparently true South West bunch (Exeter/Devon way) to all meet up.


(The north/South thing is an ongoing fun debate...I thought I'd better add it before one of the southerners appear and make a comment )

+1, thanks for organising it Sandy (brilliantly, as ever) and a great turnout; nice to speak to a few new faces.

Since rain threateened I departed straight away and missed the main action - only got a little damp; the Fury needs a bilge pump for wet days

Ok so had a chance to put a little video together but I apologise in advance for poor audio, the internal gopro didnt come out well I presume because I had the gopro in the case and I had too much gain on the main camera for the tunnel shots!

When do you put your car away for the winter (I'm sure you said last year that it gets put away)? We might be able to squeeze another in if there's the interest and some decent weather.

No it's never put away, it just doesn't really get used if the weather is poor and during the late autumn and winter it's pretty much like that a lot. If the weather is dry I get out in it as often as I can even if it's very cold. I even go out on Xmas day and/or boxing day if I can, the roads are great then, really empty!!

If I don't make it this year I will keep on nagging you until I do in 2017! ha ha!!
