Just a word to say a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in a record-beating Supercar Saturday this year - THANK YOU!
To the drivers, who drove exceptionally well on the continually greasy track right until the last couple of hours.
To the volunteers who helped run the event in really good spirit.
To the enthusiasts who turned up in the not very promising conditions and had a good time anyway and were patient with our volunteer staff all day
Thanks to all of you, we beat last year's total raised and therefore set a new record for the event. Given the poor weather this is even more amazing.
Bob, that's a great set of photos, thank you for posting those. Is it OK for me to post the link to the drivers please? Do they need to contact you to download images for personal use? Might you be prepared to donate the images for use in promoting the event?
