I moved down to Gloucestershire last September so interested to see what meets are going on.

I found Queen Square Car Club who are Bristol based but now meet just off the A38 north of Bristol, attended their first meet yesterday and it was excellent. I hope to attend others as they're monthly. Well worth looking up on FB and not your usual bunch of popping Fiestas either, some genuinely interesting stuff.

Is that your viper?

if so, hi from another SW viper owner in the best colour scheme, hope to see you at a meet soon!

There’s some impressive cars and general numbers at the summer meets. Eastwood Park’s fairly local to me so I’ll often head up with my daughter for a bacon roll if I’m up and about on time, a lot of the good stuff is gone before 10am.

If I were coming from Cornwall I’d probably extend the trip - go further up north on the Saturday to Caffeine and Machine, stay overnight and enjoy the empty Fosse Way early on the Sunday morning.
Yeah it was Eastwood Park where I stumbled across the meet and by all accounts it's quite an event. Seemed it from the long line of rather lovely cars exiting. That's about 5 minutes down the road from me. I think in the spring I'll be taking my middle one along with me as she loves to get out and about and see stuff, even if it's cars haha

Makes sense if you can make a weekend of it.

No sadly not, that was just one of my favourites from the last meet and I like the photo haha. I was in my old Saab this time round. Will head out in something more interesting next time.

Lovely Viper you have though mate. smile

I'm on the A38, not a million miles from Cam/Durseley way. How about you?

New meets happening around Minchinhampton...

Aprils meet at Aston Down with @badger5.ltd is only the beginning.
We’re very, very happy to announce that from May, every 3rd Sunday, we’ll be bringing back our famous monthly car meets to the amazing Minchinhampton Rugby Club.
Those that have been before will know it’s a beautiful barn with more than enough parking for all.
Hot food and drinks available onsite and this will be a free event.
As with all our car related events, we ask people to act and drive respectfully when entering and leaving. You’ve all behaved impeccably well and would love it to stay that way.
Can’t wait to see you at the club

Duff timing. It’s a modest event but a good range of people. Not wall to wall Lambo’s but a variety of real world kit and people. It’s a regular and I think Gary put the next few months of dates up yesterday. There is a Hilltop Farm Shop Facebook page that should show all.

Provisional Wilton Wake Up dates are out, this year its likely to be a mix of themed and non-themed events. Once the themes are published I'll update.

DriveTribe held a first event at Haynes Motor Museum last year which was a sell out, didn't go myself but most I have spoken with said it was basically a breakfast club event with a couple of celebs, cost wise it was £25 for car and all passengers, they are looking to hold a second event this year but if they go with their provisional pricing structure I think it will be very quiet!

Thats crazy, Haynes breakfast club is normally a fiver a car (rather than per person), what's happening to warrant the 25 quid pp?

That does look driven by money making rather than car culture. Not one I’d be interested in.

Anyone planning to do Cars and Cuppas in Exeter on Sunday?

Never been but itching to get out so tempted.
