Need to get some new tyres on a few vehicles soon and recently discovered my usual very competitively priced outlet has closed down.

Can anyone recommend anywhere in Bristol that I should try?

I use their Gloucester branch and they're very good.

Ron Costello Tyres in Horfield is worth a try. I run a fleet of 230 vehicles and they give the best price and service around, not just on everyday stuff but high spec tyres as well.

I know this may well be out of the way for Bristolians, but my firend owns a tyre place in Yeovil, and I get very good rates through him. Additionally they know how to look after the cars the work on so that nice too.

To give you an idea, I got my 4 205/50/15 Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres fitted, wheels balanced and 4 wheel aligned for £201

If anyone fancies it I can set up a deal for PHers...

protyre 6th'd and thats for both a mini and a porsche, so a bit of a range, they were good with my dad's porsche apparentely taking time and not using any air tools or power tools and using a proper wheel brace to protect the ally wheel nuts etc.

Not quite Bristol, I guess, but I always use Malvern Tyres in Bradford on Avon.

Is it worth us trying to see if we can get PHers a discount for all the plugging that we do? Who's the best sales person here?

Thats a no to the email I sent their head office - they already offer the best price.

Going on the price I was given (against say Black Circles), I'd be inclined to agree.
