Well, it's finally happened.

Thanks to the advert on PH, my car has now been sold

I'm absolutely gutted, and with no replacement on the horizon it's not going to get any better.

looks like I'll be a passenger on the Wales hoon then

Oh mate! Time waits for no man, a new day is beginning, a new horizon is calling, a new challenge... your ready, your in your prime, you can move at a moments notice & secure your new trusty steed... but what will it be is the question... your throat is dry with anticipation...

Sorry mate, just trying to make you forget your old girl & think about a new play thing!

Ta Garry, I'm not normally one to worry about changing cars (in fact I used to change them more often than my pants, but that's another story!!) but I'm going to miss this one.
I wish I'd known you were an IFA 6 months ago, you might have been able to sort me a better mortgage that would have enabled me to have kept the car!!

I've been browsing the used car market today to see if I can buy anything worthwhile for about £500 - the answer seems to be a resounding no (although I did see an E30 3 series that was briefly tempting)

Ah well, I'll just have to work harder and save more!!

Commiserations Del.

I still remember the run across the mendips last year, and the ride you gave me in your WRX. Especially a slightly worrying moment when I was looking at the wall about 4 inches from my window and praying hard that you didn't lift off!

I'm sure you will find something worthy of succeeding her.

I would have sold you my Rover 600 if I still had it. After all, it could keep up with a Chimaera 500!

I remember that run too. Del, you may recall I was on a large black motorcycle that day. I have an abiding memory of seeing you heading for a ditch in my mirrors at one point while try to keep up! For thrills per £, why not look into getting a bike licence? Another string to the bow and you'll be amazed at how cheaply you can pick up a two-wheeled rocketship. Opens up a whole new avenue of PH-dom...

The wallpaper on my desktop is a picture, taken from a TVR Sagaris that was still being run in, of a certain Lamborghini Murcielago overtaking the Sagaris with a Kawasaki glued to it's tailgate.

Guess when this was taken?
