With these nice sunny warm evenings dare i say lets hoon to a pub for a pub meal instead of a curry? The Carpenters arms where we went a few years ago is cool or maybe the Riverside at Saltford? Plenty of parking there....Just an idea....

Good idea. Midweek hoon followed by a pub meal. Carpenters Arms was a good location and had decent parking facilities.

Head out of Bristol on the A37 at Whitchurch, through Pensford, up the hill to the roundabout where you can go left to Bath, straight on to Shepton Mallett etc, go right at the roundabout & 300m or so theres a right turn with a sign pointing to the Carpenters Arms.. dead easy, we normally meet up though for a drive somewhere else & end up there in convoy...

The 21st is good for me. It also doesn't clash with England v Sweden the night before.
