With the barsteward hot weather, I'm currently sat here dehydrating in the office thinking wouldn't it be nice to sit outside drinking beer for two hours then go for a curry. So my current favourite is option 1. Pump House pub (sit outside next to the lock/river, drink lots of COLD beers ) Then shoot off around the corner for a curry at Raj Baris, then get a taxi home from the taxi company next door to the curry house.

kin'ec it's HOT!

If going for option 1, I think we need to get as smany people as possible to leave their cars at home.

Thinking about this, we should get a better quality scenery in Clifton and a cold beer overlooking the gorge will be very nice!!

I'll have a chat with Steph about being chaufeuse for the evening

So after seven pages we appear to have lost our leader and still no decision made.

I'm tempted by the Pumphouse and RajBari option - it's too damn hot to go for a drive just for the fun of it.

I'm inclined to agree - the Avon Gorge will be packed and stifling whereas it might be a bit cooler by the waterfront.

It does seem we cant organise a pi#s up in a brewery so lets then have a piss up at the pump house, it does seem a shame to not drive but theres a risk of thunder storms tomorrow anyway. My good lass is driving tomorrow & shes away Thursday night so I think I might go for a hoon on me todd thursday....

So, Pumphouse followed by Reg n Barrys?

(We havnt even thought about a time yet...here we go again)

Crikey - do we finally have a plan??!?

How about 7-7.30 at the pump house and the usual 9 @ Raj Bari?

It would be a bit controversial if we had it all sorted 48 hours in advance

Mechsympathy - Taxi is a good idea then we can all have some cold frothy ones!

OK, add names in the time-honoured and I'll phone Reg (or Barry) and book a table for a suitable number.
