WTF is a "bimble"?

I think he might have found that you need to be a little more circumspect with rwd and shedloads of torque

He'll be spending all his time polishing the bloody thing soon as he's afraid to drive it properly. Quite a common problem from what I hear.

Hmmmm, now where's that mod stick.....

Don't worry, I'll find out how it works soon enough...

Just gotta stop driving under the bloody suspension bridge all the time...

Tried under the bridge by temple meads? Go past temple meads on your left then take the next left as though to get onto the feeder, you go under the railway bridge...lovely in 2nd gear as its alot lower than the suspension bridge, (though i take it you mean the bridge that stops suicide jumpers spoiling your day... i know the one you mean!

Another vote for the tunnel under Temple Meads

There's a nice long one under a hill in Dorset which I want to try out too, only been down through it so far in the S4 but I'm looking forward to coming up through it in the TR.

Come on my Aackers!

BTW. Ever wondered why Pirates sound like Pirates? Cuz they'm vrom the West Country zee?

Unless they're Corsairs in which case they sound like Algerians. Or Buccaneers, because they're Carribs.

Probably - best to stop now. Though I'm sure he once wrote "Drink up ye zider!", so he's not without blame himself.

WEDNESDAY 19TH.....

Classic Options:

1 - The Pump House pub followed by Raj Bari for a curry (both in Hotwells)

2 - Hoon out to Carpenters Arms pub (South of Bristol) for "pie" and a pint.

New suggestions:

3 - One or two beers on the Terrace of the Avon Gorge Hotel bar, overlooking the Clifton Suspension Bridge, followed by Curry somewhere in Clifton Village.

4 - Hoon out north of Bristol to a pub (someone with local Knowledge to select)

5 - Any other suggestion?

5a: Mini-Nordschlieffe & out to Petrol station curry house?

Having said that, option 3 sounds good, but it seems a shame not to have a mini-hoon as the weather should be good.

I can't escape Bath until about 8pm on the 19th so will probably miss the hoon. However, it'd be mighty convenient if I didn't have to negotiate the closed A4 to come over to Bristol for food. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult anyway

I like 3 a lot, however, it doesn't include the inaugral loitering about kicking tyres before Mini-Norschliefing.

5a is always a great run.
