Just to humour you, I have attended meetings in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006.
If you are in any doubt, ask Dave Earp he will confirm. From the very first moment I have been treated like shit. Made to feel like I was intruding on some closed shop. The only person whoever bothered to say hello was Earpy who then scuttled back to his cronies so as not to get shunned.
I am not the only person who has gone to a meeting to feel left out. Why do you think it is the same old few who turn up each month? Perhaps you need to look at the way you treat potential new recruits and the way you portray yourself on here before you feel you are in a position to make 'clever' comments. Whereas I don't normally attract flies and my personal hygiene has never been called into question by anyone. Resorting to such comments make you look uneducated and less of a gentleman than you already are. I, on the other hand am not trying to recruit new members to the D+C meets, nor am I trying to dissuade them. They can go along and decide for themselves. Actually, I asked a reasonable question of the TVRCC Devon and Cornwall based on the last meeting I attended as a member. I have since been subject to quite vile attacks by the keyboard warrior that is jwt63.

Twasn't aiming it in your direction per se, as JWT does seem to be a bit of a keyboard warrior. However I was intending to reinforce the comments made earlier - this is Pistonheads, ignore the keyboard warriors and carry on being a part of the family.
If there is dirty laundry to be aired, do it over in TVRCC's website, not on some chaps perfectly innocent thread.
I'm close to closing this one, deleting it, and starting it again for the chap.

I think we've left this thread open long enough for everyone to have had a pop.
We've been here before though and I don't see this thread going anywhere other than downwards over the weekend. Clearly Devon and Cornwall TVRCC have events their members enjoy doing which some TVR owning PHers attend, meanwhile many PHers enjoy other events such as early morning drive outs, pub meets etc no matter what marque of car they drive. Go to what you want, there's no competition.
