Oops. October as in this week on thursday.

DAZ

hehe Best update the thread title to "26th" then...

Ere pete, how does this fit in with our usual riding?

Are we going to the curry house in riding gear and with bikes? hehe

P'raps not!

Mind you, staggering out of the restaurant on wobbly legs and in brown-stained clothing might ensure R&B's is a bit emptier on future visits...

The 26th you say... I'll confirm later (or not) as it's C's birthday...

Newbies welcome. thumbup

Just have to drive by the pub meeting point tonight to check it's still opening (someone off forum said it recently seemed to be closed when they run past it after work). May be varied opening times, but I just want to check.

No answer by phone. I pass there on the way home, so I'll have a look in tonight.

If it is closed, the Rose of Denmark just around the corner is supposed to be pretty good these days. Can't vouch for it myself though.

I was in there a week or two ago. It's fine, but I wouldn't make the effort if the pumphouse was open

Popped in to the Pump House at 5:45 last night and it was as closed as a virgin's knees.
Looked like it might be open later but no opening times on the door. I guess there's not much call for after work sundowners when its dark and p155ing down with rain so they've cut their losses...

What do you reckon? Meet up in Clifton for a pint then go down to the curry house?

7.30pm - Henry Africas Hot House" on Whiteladies Road.

9.00pm - Raj Bari in Hotwells for a curry.

I'll be driving a car with 3/4 passenger seats if people need a lift from the pub to the curryhouse. Incidently there is a taxi company nextdoor to the curryhouse.

Sounds good for me - incidently, I shall be showing off something new tonight
