As we seem to be missing out on all of the Hooning fun in the South West, anyone fancy a Hoon one day next week between Xmas and New Year?

Roads should be quieter and I have a prospective route tentatively planned. Thought we could meet at the car park at Birdlip as assuming it isn't foggy it's a great view.

Thought we could meet about 10 a.m. drive for a couple of hours, stop at a pub for some lunch and then head off or do another hour or so driving.

How about next Friday the 29th?

I can do that - which car will depend on the weather

10am there. Is the car park easy to spot?

I'm in - but could I suggest an earlier start?

I know Daz is always a fan of early starts.

Mind you, it is weather dependant I think?

If you are coming up the A417/A419 from Swindon direction then it is turn left towards Birdlip then first right to the Scenic View car park.

If you are coming from Bristol i.e. up the M5 then it is off M5 at J11a keep right and at the roundabout turn left. You will be driving away from Gloucester....if not you are going the wrong way!

Possible, although the car is currently under the spanner having go faster bits bolted on.

Damn you all. The first hoon anywhere near me and i'm without a hooning car.

Viewpoint carpark signposted as shag hill, due to dubious nocternal activities. Can recommend a good route out to stow if you like, will do a map online tomorrow.

Do you want a passenger ride? - I'll either be in the Caterham if it's sunny or the Mustang...

I have just got back from the Boxing Day London Tunnel Run and need some more excitement and nothing else to do on Friday so I would like to go too. Just put the refurbished wheels back on my Diablo so will bring that.

Dammit. No longer a certainty I am going to make this. banghead

I've been suffering from manflu for the last 24 hours and I'm not sure when it's going to bugger off. Don't want to go passing it on to anyone else.
