DAZ Can you bring some print outs of your route with you?

Will do. thumbup

Neil, nice summary, nothing dangerous, just using some of the progressive driving techniques some of us have been taught on quiet NSLs.

Are we meeting people in Sedgemoor Services at 10am? or heading straight there?

Also, you guys say your gonna be going some, which is more than fine, i would if i could, i just dont think i have the driving experience to keep up! So meeting up with you guys only to see you go off into the distance without me is fine, ill take directions to get to sedgemoor or verbeer on my len if that happens.

I also think i'll give the hoon a miss (only just picked up the car and am still getting used to the power! Don't fancy wrapping it around a tree just yet!)
So willd, if you fancy a casual drive to verbeer i could meet you around bristol and we can make our own way there? (seeing as it's both our first meets)

How about we go to the hoon, but take it steady?

May I join you? I'm picking up my first Griff on Saturday, so if it's not too wet I'll be up for a bit of (cautious) motoring. I'll be starting from Chipping Sodbury... where are you?

Sounds ok, but don't know the roads at all around bristol. So will need someone who knows the way

I've got the route the 'hooning boys' are taking so i'll leave a bit later ( we will pray for a safe drive for us all angel ), miss some out & hopefully catch you up on route... probably at a burger van or a petrol station...

If the weather is dry its looking like some nice motors will be on show & a cracking day lined up.

Chaps, although we go quickly, we're not talking 200mph ascents of the Mendips here.

You'll be pleasantly surprised at whether you can keep up - I just wanted to make everyone aware of 'how we do it' as it were.

You're all welcome, and the more the merrier, it was just a nice light hearted warning to make sure everyone knows the score

By all means come along, we are not dangerous, nor do we act like nutters!

Please email Daz for that info, routes for Hoons always stay off-line for obvious reasons.

Also, we are not touching the motorways at all on the way down...

I wouldn't want anybody to get upset that the front runners are buggering off - it's not a 'run' as it would be in the likes of a TVRCC pootle...

Could be possibly about...the Griff could do with a pootle. We only pootle so the Speed 6 cars and the Golden Oldies can keep up!You know how fragile they can beboxedin

Oi, Bolton - No!!

You seem to be forgetting who runs the TVRCC in this area now sunshine! The man in front with a red flag has now taken retirement!

Rear wheel steering in operation!

Although the route is in my satnav, it's not exactly in English if that makes any sense. I'll try and sort out written directions over lunchtime and send them out to those that have asked for them by email this afternoon. I'll also have copies on the day.

I'd also point out that although I know the first half of the route very well, the balance is made up from the nav software and linking a few sections I've been told about.
