Won't be the sort of run you saw on Sun morning...

Dorset is at least 50 miles away (used to live in Yeovil), and the proposed route so far, a good 80 miles at least...so no, I won't be going;

additionally, I'm not a great fan of talking about trunnions etc...

However it may appeal to some

I don't think the run will involve trunnion-talk - it's not really my thing either to be honest.

I'm confused about what you say about a proposed route? Have I missed an off-shoot thread somewhere?

Talk of coastal routes was mentioned.

Round route just to get to south coast is at least 160 miles round trip...

Edited to add: Last time we were talking of a hoon you were moaning that it was a bit too agresssive at that time for you. Unless you've decided you like 'rapid roadcraft skill building' (as it was decided it should be called) at 7 in the morning, I don't think that Will will enjoy a 160 mile round trip to just dawdle to a pub and back...

Ah right - I just mooted the coast as an option. Really depends where most peeps are coming from as to where the route goes. I'm hoping it'll be a mixture of quick and leisurely, not a 'see who can achieve the lowest MPG' blastfest.

Wow, I only return to see the remains of the family ( Stoke-sub-Hamdon ) and to watch the greatest football team the world has ever seen ( LOL ). The road between Bristol and Yeovil is well worn by now...

Is this serious? 'Rapid roadcraft skill building....' Do me a favour

I'd love to g for a blast through Dorset (without seeing who can generate the lowest MPG) - I can probably get 3 or 4 more to come along too - depending on the weather

PS - I don't even know what a trunnion is
