What an awesome evening, I've just got to go out for a drive driving
Any of the Bristol guys fancy an inpromptu mini-hoon?
(Reply before 7 or I've gone!)

I think I will leave the roads tonight, for one thing the after work pub beckons, and for another the rest of the world and their auntie will be heading somewhere. Maybe not the best hooning time.

look / listen out for me tomrrowe though!

YES! where are you in the south west?

Edit: although I have got to go out to the gym later but let me know what your thinking.

Sorry to let you down Will, I've changed my plans. boxedin
Owens comments about busy roads made a lot of sense... When he mentioned the pub it sealed the deal for me drink
For future reference, I'm just round the corner from you in Kingswood (mid week only).

Wanna go out tomorrow sometime during the day?

It'll have to be after Easter now I'm afraid... Looking forwards to it though.

Tomorrow i'll be cutting a tree down in the front garden.
Saturday i'll be mostly sitting around going "ouch" a lot.
Sunday i'm going greenlaning on Salisbuty plain, then to brum for a James Taylor gig
Monday i'll either be washing the car or at combe.

I'm saving up all my hooning for when i get the bmw back on the road.

I need to confirm it won't fit down the side of the house first. If it doesn't then I will be looking to sell it. I'll try to sort out attempting it this weekend.

:cheeky:If not can I borrow it next weekend?beer

Yep, no problem. PM me and I'll give you my number (if you don't have it already).

A day into the weekend and I have been for a hoon, done some gardening and helped a mate fix his car. I hope the sticker fixing goes as smoothly...

Out for a quick blat yesterday & cruising up white ladies rd parked right outside Henry Africas was the yellow Merci we've spotted a few times before, PHATT number plates, looked stunning.

Morning drives are definately the best, this cool fresh dense air really makes a diference.

Got up early to watch the GP - Go Lewis

Feel pretty shattered as I've been ripping out my old bathroom for the last 2 days.

My TVR is in for a 4.0L engine upgrade, Nitron Shocks with Eibach springs, and red carbon fibre air tight air box fitted. Should get it back this Friday.

One hell of a fustrating easter not having my Tiv. Should have got the work done in February.

cracking weekend in the end.

Took the tuscan out on friday, got as far as bristol airport heading for cheddar and the loads were gridlocked. Started to boil, so quickly tunred around and went for a drive around the Chew Valley lakes - Lovely!

Sunday morning drove the Z4M from Reading to Bristol down the A4, quiet roads, great weather and wonderful scenery.

Then Sunday afternoon, took Mrs Obi up in the plane and went along the Bristol channel and back via CHeddar and the Chew Valley, took some piccies over bristol and landed at Filton.

All in all a great weekend of playing with the toys!

Pfft. These bloody TVR owners and their planes eh?

I went to Wales in an early morning raid, scared the living crap out of some locals, discovered some interesting corners and jumps, and spent a lot on fuel (although not as much as a certain old giffer).

Other days were spent doing my new favourite pastime - Gardening

and eating Bills fabulous homemade Chocolate cake

In no particular order I went for a blat, dug Claire's veg patch, helped a mate fix his Saab (in my pit), swapped my Caterham for a race one and some cash, blatted back from Newbury down the M4, made a bag seat, got all my stickers on, ordered some garden furniture (20% off at Shabitat), stripped a load of bits off the landy, sold the scooby and collapsed in a heap to watch MI3:Phew:

On a more serious note. If close by, may have to come along and shout abuse from the sidelines. ears

hehe

It's at Pembrey on Saturday and Sunday, I think I'll have two spare tickets but there is a pot that everyone's spares go into and a donation to charity get's them out so more will be available. Failing that it's hardly F1 expensive (or F1 boringyikes).

I watched at Pembrey last year and it can be a bit windswept, but you get to wander around the pit and they're a friendly crowdthumbup
