Hi,

If it fits the bill, we have an Elise ready and waiting. I know its not exotic but its pretty enough.

I think I'm free - a friend is doing the London to Brighton bicycle ride (mad fool) and that's around 16th, but I think its 16th June not July (as you can tell, I'm not a very organised person). Provided it doesn't clash with that, just let me know where and when. (It would be good to put some faces to names on here.)

Have the Chim ready and waiting if needed. Would prefer Ferndown as it's closer to Hants.

Cheers

t40 ORA,

Well,

I guess Ferndown is looking favourite.

The London to Brighton is on a Saturday, Ferndown is closer to my place and you're looking short on takers, so put me down for that one.

Directions would be handy when you have time (sorry - I haven't checked your links yet, so directions might be there already)

Hi David,

Ferndown would be great. It will be at Ferndown Leisure Centre www.cancerresearchuk.org/relay/venues/south/272854/

The Blandford one is at Blandford School www.cancerresearchuk.org/relay/venues/south/279968/

A later start for you at Ferndown :-)

t40ora,

A minor problem - it looks as though this does clash with the London - Brighton bike run on Sunday 16th. ARRGH.

Can I swap to the Saturday in Blandford instead? I have to get up earlier and travel further but I don't want to let you down.

Having committed to the Sturday, if I can get out of my committments for the Sunday, I'll do that too as you are short of numbers,

Dave

Hi Zed, glad you can make it/them. Yeah, Blandford is Saturday at the school and Ferndown is Sunday at the leisure centre. We're already booked to be in Cheddar for the weekend with the TVROC but we'll come back up for Blandford. Can't make the Sunday too.

Bugger! There's 8 on the list for Blandford now, and they have 8 slots at the school.

D17EEE is only a maybe; if he can't make it or swaps to Sunday your Elise would be much welcome.

If it helps anyone - I can pull out as there is another run I can attend. That would leave space for someone else...

Folks,

Cancer Research have had to cancel the event at Blandford due to a lack of support. They are however definitely going ahead with the Ferndown event, which was always going to be the larger of the two events.

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...all you worthy people that volunteered for the Blandford event, would it be at all possible to join the equally worthy but much rarer people that have said that they will come to Ferndown?

It would be easier for me if you could send me a quick PM through my profile if you can attend and letting me know what car you'll be bringing. I think that they are still after 8 nice shiny and interesting cars, that will attract people in. I was at Poole Quay tonight talking to a friend, and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly a crowd gather around any raised bonnet!

Anyway, if you can make it I and CR will be eternally grateful.

BTW any of you Ferndown volunteers, would you also mind confirming via PM? Cheers, Lee.
