Thank you everyone for your kind offers of support to this very worthwhile charity event. Not a confirmed date, but how does the 8th of November this year sound to everyone??

A bit late for convertibles and open cockpit boys. Definitely dependent on weather at that time of year.

But the sun always shines in Devon!
The Hospice are keen to tie the cars in with a teenage boys weekend, as they feel these would be the most interested of the children at the hospice...but if you think earlier in the year would be better I will ask!

Just my opinion mate. Obviously not speaking for others - I'm sure they'll let you know.wink
Mine may be off the road by then - I have a fair bit of work to do this winter so a three month break is likely.

I don't have a fancy car but I live in Barnstaple, any objections to me coming along for a nosey?

markgawthorne, don't plan for the following weekend, 14/15/16 Nov as that will clash Classic and Car show at the NEC. The Bristol Restoration Show is usually around this time, too

If we at Great Western Saabs - and I am sure UKSaabs, can be of help with this, and our members are available, I am sure we all would be only too happy to.

The Babe Appeal, which is the one I believe you are indicating is GWS's chosen charity - see saabtrek.com for more info as to one of our instances of rasing awareness and cash for Charlton Farm.

Hi all!
I hope you haven't lost interest in this idea! The guys at the hospice are taking a while to sort logistics and dates out. I have a meeting with them on the 14th of this month to tie down a date, I hope to move it to Sept / Oct when its hopefully a bit warmer.
Watch this space and thanks again for all your kind offers of help.

No probelm, just let us know when, but certainly Sept / Oct sounds better.
