Admittedly I didnt see a PH sticker but still a good spot, nice Sherman on Temple Way earlier.
I saw the same setup at the "Dig for Victory" show at the North Somerset Showground last weekend. It was a really interesting show and I got chatting to the owner of the tank.
He was telling me he did a huge amount of restoration work on it, as it was originally used for target practice!
It has a nine cylinder supercharged radial engine and uses 2 gallons for 1 mile
Apparently Shermans are getting very collectable too. His was valued at around £200K, an immaculate example with history (battle, not service!) is up around £400K.
The whole outfit can only do 20mph so ideal for threading through the streets of Bristol!
Mr Ferguson (captain Red Trousers) would have been proud!!!

Sadly no pics but I saw a McLaren P1 trundling through Bedminster this afternoon... Seen him a few times before so I'm guessing it's a local car
Good to know there's one not too far away. What colour? A friend saw one on the M4 a few months back not far from Bristol, so quite possibly related.McAndy said:

It's sort of like a duck-egg baby blue... not really my taste TBH but it's a P1 so I can forgive it just about anything!
I have just discovered that there is McLaren Bristol at Cribbs Causeway! http://www.bristol.mclaren.com/contact/location-an...
Saw a pearl yellow Aventador on the M32 coming out of Bristol at about half 11 Friday night, came off at UWE junction and went down towards the ring road. Had a personalised plate, think it was 2 numbers & 2 letters. Looked and sounded absolutely phenomenal. Think it's only the second one I've ever seen. Nearly had a trouser accident. Even the mrs was excited about it.
