Very smart VW Golf GTD, with a white PH sticker under the VW badge. Spotted in the outside lane of the M4 between Chippenham and Swindon. Just before half eight this morning, as I was crawling along on the near side as everyone was stop'n starting due to the accident. From what I saw, the accident didn't look too severe, so I hope the driver was not badly injured

There was one at the Avenue Drivers Club Sunday morning meeting a few months back and I have to say they are stunning to look at. Clarkson rated it too when he drove one on Top Gear. I have a pic somewhere I'll see if I can dig it out and post it, brb.......
The pics don't really do it justice either!!

Well it's all a personal thing isn't it? That's the great thing about cars and vehicles in general. 90% of the cars mentioned on this SW Spotted thread I wouldn't look twice at, horses for courses.
Clarkson certainly rated it very highly, I think he was comparing the trip in this and an M3 or something and he preferred the i8. The interior is great too.
