Lovely Mercedes AMG GT spotted heading toward Bath this morning, by Dyrham Park, on the A36 as I headed up to the M4. Looked lovely, first time I've seen one in the flesh on the road.

I've been down in Cornwall on holiday this week and seen loads of interesting stuff around.

Black BMW i8 between St Ives and Hayle.
Black BMW 1M at Wadebridge Tesco.
A gorgeous dakar yellow BMW 840ci Sport at the Shell garage in Hayle.
Red Volvo P1800ES parked up in Port Isaac.
Grey Daimler SP250 somewhere on the back roads near Combe Martin.
Black latest model Mustang in Ilfracombe of all places.

Also saw the yellow Radical RXC from all the press articles blasting along the roads near Devizes last night. It looked like a race car that took a wrong turn!

A good day today! This morning in Plymouth I spotted a TVR (insert model here) with TVR in the reg, a 458 in Yelverton, an old G reg Marcos in Yelverton and then a Subaru Imprezza near cadover bridge giving it some welly.

By any chance do you live very local? I keep hearing what sounds like a tiv V8 which can only be in 1 of 3 roads from where I live, but haven't been able to track it down yet.

You're certainly on the ball mudskipper. Yes it does now have a TVR plate and I live in Ellan Hay Road in BS so local.

My XK meeting its XKE Grandad (also a '69) by chance yesterday. A lovely Ex-US model, now converted to UK spec/RHD/triple SU carbs etc etc and used regularly - marvellous!

Your's is unlikely to be the V8 which i keep hearing then as I'm just around the corner from where I spotted you.

Might have to arrange a BS meet one evening and get all the locals along. There seem to be a quite a few of us now.

Strange. I passed another R8 in Carkeel this afternoon. Same time, day and place as last week but in the opposite direction and this one was silver.
