Nope, not that one. This thing looked like the real deal. It must of been a old school rally car or something as it didnt really look in place on the road. I bet it was running the 1.3 engine but was screeming through the gears! I pulled around 5 car lengths on him

Was up on the downs in Bristol yesterday afternoon flying a kite, or at least attempting to and failing.

Saw the bronze R8 GT again, sounded really nice actually and certainly better than the 3 other R8s I also saw in those coupe of hours (white, black and silver). Also saw a stunning old white morgan with a picnic basket on the back (looked ace), a very noisey original white mini, awesome looking green VW beetle and masses of loud and dubiously modified cars

If anyone on here looped round the downs between 3-5ish in anything vaguely interesting i probably saw you

I imagine on a really bright summer day there might have been all sorts of interesting things pootling about.

Not noticed that but I can't imagine their being two, looks great doesn't it. The Carbon is so nice although I remember hearing rumours the Carbon side panels were £8,000 for the pair. Not sure if I could afford £80,000 on a car I could warrant an extra 10% for aesthetics. Hats off to the ones that do though.

It is pretty striking in that red, silver or white ones seem a bit ten a penny (compared with Monaros )

I'm just about to nip out for lunch so I'm going to check out that carbon...
