I get off work early on Friday, so will ride the route and let you know if it's a go'er.
Any more tunnel suggestions welcomed!

Right - I've scoped out this route, pics of the better tunnels attached.
Half the route is city centre, and the other half little twisty country roads.
Not the most exciting ride, but the tunnel blasting was fun.

Over to you v8s, I definitley think it's worth organising a tunnel run.

Excellent work, and I do like the look of those tunnels.

Mmmmmm. Imagine my V8 down that last one... giggidy

So are we doing this tunnel run then, people?

Show of hands?

Mudskipper has been looking at tunnels too and thinks she might have a couple we can add to the route, but we're going to scout them at some point to see what's what.

A couple?? I found 47!! There are one or two which need a quick check that could be added onto the route above as they are in the same areas (can't see the pic in work so will have to have a look later)

Ideal - I was thinking on my way round today that more tunnels were needed.
Give us postcodes/street names and we can add them to the route.

I've got them all pinned on a Google map at the mo, but with all my weird notes. I'll clean it up hopefully this evening if not over the weekend and post the link

Have created a dedicated thread now chaps. We can keep this one for listing more tunnels.

My dear, you're far too clumsy. You'll have bumped your head on the tub and sawn your arm off before I've even got the bits out of the delivery box. biggrin

Actually, I'll have probably buggered up the order and we'll end up in the garage, standing around three peaches and a garden gnome.

all20vt i bet the SV sounds great in those tunnels i have a silver SV1k with hi mount M4 and it sounds fantastic indoors in fact I nearly dropped it riding around inside the workshop at work! The rear wheel spins very easily on the dusty painted floor.
Back to the tunnel run.
I am very up for noise making. The Vette should be mended by mid week and I'm running Electric cutouts so can at the flick of a switch run 2 3inch open exhausts!
Yes i have made children cry and one lady actually jump right into a hedge.evil
