So, anyone going this morning?
The weather looks dry but cloudy.
Be interesting to see how many people still turn up as the weather starts to decline.

I popped along for an hour and thought it was one of the better ones. Still busy though which depending on your point of view is a good or bad thing!

Heaters and a roof thats rather posh for you ahh but I bet it still doesn't have a reverse gear

And im sure wot ever you have bought now is still ph worthy .I shall leave my car out of sight at any ph meet

• College Green – from its junction with Park Street to its junction with St Augustine’s Parade

• Colston Avenue (western section) - from its junction with St Augustine’s Parade to its junction with St John’s Bridge
• Colston Street – from its junction with Pipe Lane to its junction with St Augustine’s Parade

No idea how this affects tomorrow's meet but I'd normally expect to get there before 9 but leaving before 12 might be a tad harder

As a suggestion.................

From the M32 turn left towards Temple Meads but take the first exit before the under pass, 3rd exit off the Old Market roundabout and get across to the Bristol bridge, approach Baldwin Street from the other end by the fishmarket.

Or approach from St Mary Redcliffe , over the next bridge to the corner of Queen Square into Welsh Back.

Looking at that list of street closures I'd say we're probably OK for tomorrow.

As a newbie to this meet, Will I have any trouble parking? My cars not exactly 'driving around aimlessly friendly' 😉

If you're there before 9 there should be plenty of space in the square itself.

Some attendees obviously didn't receive the e-mail from Tony Taylor prior to yesterday's gathering. Copied below is a short extract from his November reminder by e-mail about the event:

"Just to remind everyone that this Sunday is the ADC meeting and hopefully we will have the break in the wet weather currently forecast .

There are only a few requests , please park sensibly and remind other to do so , don’t park across the lowered or dropped kerb , try to keep engine noise to a min as we have had a few complaints from residents"

I have no connection with the event other than being a keen supporter each month. If the silly behaviour with wheel spinning departures, air horns and excessive engine noise continues, then I am sure that some campaigning do-gooders will get the event stopped.

We are privileged to be able to see such a diverse collection of vehicles on a regular basis, please don't let a few selfish people spoil it for everyone else.

Residents? There aren't really any on Queen Square!

But yes, good points.

Had a great time yesterday morning in all the sunshine. Thanks to everyone who stopped to say 'hello'.

Best wishes, Colin

I thought it was a good turnout considering it was Remembrance Sunday and the weather looked a bit iffy.
I actually got there early enough to get a spot on the square for once.
My personal favourites were:

Lotus Exige with a 2.2litre supercharged Honda conversion, 525bhp at the wheels in road going trim!! yikes
The Tesla model S with the really chatty owner.
The enormously wide Harley with the biggest fork stanchions I have ever.
The funky looking BMW 1502 which has a 4 litre V8 and "concept car" type styling.

Lets hope December is every bit a good?
