Cool. For some reason I had a feeling you were going to buy one of these. Strange!

Every time you drive past where I live you are required to floor it wink

I hear one go over the bridge every now and again from my place, its black as well.

I'm West Sussex based.

Had this for two weeks so far. Absolutely love it; the noise is incredible.

Thanks Stef (and everyone). I've not had the pleasure of being in a VXR8 before, but I do remember being taken apart by one a year or so ago in my Audi. biggrin

New ride is a 5 series daily driver, not the most PH worthy thing ever but it's a damn nice place to be.

Stef, that's really nice, neighbour of mine had one, unfortunately continual playing, fettling and ragging meant it's top power of over 600 was only achieved for a very short while.. at 488 that thing will be a monster anyway! smile

Here is my new little car, the 605 should be going off to its new home tomorrow but here is the replacement.

A 206 GTi 180, its standard but with the Peugeot SP pack fitted. Its a lot of fun to drive and still pretty economical on a run. Here's a couple of pics.

Tony, are those the same seats that were in my Racing, they look the same? I thought they only had them in the 207?

Hi Stef

Yes they are very similar, if not the same. The GTi 180 was the first car where they came fitted as std equipment.

Not the best pic...

Stef if you see a brightly coloured BMW estate driving slowly past your drive during the early hours, that will be me checking out the new motor. Its amazing how much yours and DB9 Marks roads get patrolled!!

Got my new car on Sunday, my old Focus was written off, so decided to go for something different.

BMW 528i SE Auto, love it at the moment! Apart from the MPG gauge under the rev counter, thats a bit depressing!

Considering its a 15/16 year old car, its lovely to drive, really quiet and smooth.

Few photos if anyone is interested.

You are welcome to drive past my road a bit more if you wish Jim. It might have the desired effect on the Corsa's, Fiesta's, Saxo's etc with Oil Drums for exhausts hooning past at unsocial hours furious

Nothing special, but with the bad weather coming our way this weekend, I'm looking forward to having that smug look on my face which most 4x4 drivers seem to have when driving on snow & ice Ha Ha
