Picked this up yesterday, '11 C63 estate with PPP
Apologies for the rubbish pic but taken on the iphone, will get some better ones up when I get a chance.
Finally pipped for this over the M5 touring which was a little of head ruling heart (less to go wrong / big bills, it's a regular auto, long warranty, etc) and a little due to there being so few M5 tourings to look at, and to be fair I got a decent deal on the C63. Not really had a chance to get out in it yet as the drive back yesterday was in the dark with torrential rain but initial impressions are good. Should be an excellent family car but a beast when provoked.
My man maths has already found a reason to justify the purchase - I averaged 22 mpg on the trip home, which is about 30% better than my BMW X5 4.8is which averaged about 17 mpg over 30k miles!!

Yeah, they did take the X5 and I got a reasonable price considering the fact that it needed a service and upcoming MOT. Plus the C63 has tax, new tyres all round, a B service and really is like new, so overall I was happy with the deal. Just found out it already has a tracker locate fitted which saves me £150 too.
Can't wait to get out in it this weekend, my driving it so far has been confined to rush hour traffic so not really got the chance of any open stretch of road.

Yeah, two Abarths, that would be good!
We're planning on keeping it fairly standard to be honest apart from perhaps the engine and gearbox mentioned above.
Our modern Abarth is going, we rarely use it and as Donna has had her heart set on the classic for a while it makes sense to sell the Abarth now while the residuals are good and buy the classic which as long as we look after it should appreciate in value, plus it's tax exempt so running costs should be peanuts!
We think we will loose the ribbon, it's vinyl and has been on the car since new.
It was previously owned by a titled owner in London, her husband bought it for her new after a serious illness and its been in the family right through to June this year. So the ribbon is there for a reason, but its ours now so we'll have to have a think about it.
It's in really good condition for a 41 year old car, let alone a Fiat!!
It has some corrosion at the bottoms of the wings and doors, but underneath the floor pan and sills look pretty solid.
It's got bucket loads of history, spent most of its time dry stored and no expense spared annual servicing etc.
Inside is excellent (apart from where her dog took a fancy to the steering wheel), and very basic, this one is the F model, not even the L for Luxury model!!
So it needs tidying, bit of an oil leak, but apart from that an honest little car, makes you smile just thinking about it!
Here's a few more pics.........
