Not a new car but an old bike. 1950 Harley Davidson foot clutch and hand operated gear change on the side of the tank. I won't be taking this down the drag strip in 13 second runs like my last one though

I'm not a motorcycle person but that is simply beautiful, I bet it sounds lovely too?

Stef
Thanks for the comment, it is very, very loud and typical of the 'Harley tick-over' not sure how these old bikes get away with it.

That bike is awesome, so cool. I hope your planning on riding it with a lether sleevless jacket and a piss pot open face helmet! Stunning mate.

Indeed, I've dug out my old flying jacket which I wore with my last bike which doesn't fit anymore looks like I need a few sizes bigger. I've seen a nice brown leather covered open faced helmet too. As you rightly say you have to wear the right gear for a bike of this era.

Hi Darren - good choice!! Shame the other Jags have to go, but I'm sure they will find a good home soon!

Thanks for the comments Jeff, Tim,

Had it a week now and I haven't had much time to "evaluate" yet, can't get it out of Lez's clutches!! Off to Hitching today so I may have half a chance!

I see you browsing the new car sections Tim?? Your pursuit of even more power is relentless, can't wait to see what you decide on.

See you all at the next meet

For those of you that know me and my Evora, you'll know that it killed me having to sell it.

Almost 6 months have passed now and I've finally picked up my new weekend toy.

It might not be to everyone's tastes but I love it. Very economical and eats up the terrain like a range rover on steroids......

Post a pic Lofty, few of us down south. You should come along to Goodwood breakfast club meets when they start again next year.
