Nah, I know how to drive! smile

I had no problem in 2010/11 winters with the MG ZT-T 260 so the BMW will be a piece of cake in comparison! smile

Yes, I do realise I'll probably be eating those words in about 8 weeks time!

Wanna bet?, BMW's are the worst cars to drive on snow and ice, The traction control senses a bit of wheel spin and just cuts the throttle so you loose all momentum, you turn the T/C off and because of the large footprint of the tyre you get no purchase and just sit there spinning one of the rear wheels up (unless you have an LSD, then both just spin).
Just be careful as your good buy may just bite you.
Other than that they are a great car, enjoy.

Yet another motorbike I have bought this is a Honda Rune, flat 6 1800cc Honda USA only made about 1200 of them and each one cost Honda $100K to make back in 2004. It's the sort of bike Judge Dredd would ride and Jay Leno and Tom Cruise also own one. Bit Marmite but really different.

The sound it makes is awesome it's said to be a cross between a Lear Jet and an old racing Porsche

Thanks all for the kind comments, Darren I think I'm a bit more Jay Leno but without the dosh rather than Tom Cruise.
I will be out and about with the bike because Honda made these to be used so weather permitting I'll be bringing it along to meets. I've also bought a concours 1967 Velocette Clubman Mk2 which I plan to take out to meets.

I think we need a meet (in the afternoon guys!) just to stand in a circle and admire this beast!

I saw one at the ride-in day at Beaulieu a few months ago - hadn't seen (or even heard of) one before. Huuuge bike, and very well finished (typical Honda). That'll be great for cruising around on, especially with that smooth GoldWing motor.

I'm having it delivered either the end of next week or early the week after, solentz (Arthur) is coming over to my place to check it out so if anyone is around they are welcome to pop over and check it out. I may even fire up my super duper barbie lunch time.

No problem, that's one of the reasons I'll do it during the working week rather than the week-end, a few of my fellow Lotus Anoraks will be coming too so I'll keep a check on numbers and there will be no vegetarian option.

Just picked this up yesterday to replace by Z4M. Nearly every option you can think of, made the 11 hour round journey worth it in the end and quite easy to cover a lot of ground I imagine.

Pleased with it even if it is isn't a Z4M.

That's a different direction! Looks lovely. Have you sold the Z4M yet?
