That looks great Dave the back end of those looks so aggressive and purposeful id have one at the drop of a hat.I take it you was dissapointed with the NSX then ?.
Just a bit, I speak as someone who put a deposit on one when it was first announced at a price of £35K it then went up and up so pulled out of buying one. I then re-visited it at the time I bought the Esprit V8 the NSX seemed too slow compared to the Lotus. The concours one last week was fabulous but in a week when you drive an Aston Martin an R8 and of course the 997 911 Turbo despite its elder statesman status it just didn't cut it. I've always thought it looked like my wife's Honda Prelude inside and that has stuck. The SL63 like the SL55 AMG I tried a few years ago has this wonderful trick of squiggling up the road when you floor it, this combined with the accompanying roar from the exhausts gives these cars a unique selling point that others fail to deliver.

That looks great! My son was very embarrassed when I asked an owner of one of these if he could rev it up in the supermarket car park! The drivers wife rolled her eyes as it happens quite often...

The exhaust sound is outrageous, there is an extended blip on the downshift and it also crackles and pops as this one has the full performance pack exhaust. I have promised a friend a visit to the Hindhead tunnel to make some noise. It is a hooligan of a car that brings out the hooligan in the driver, it smokes the tyres if you apply a bit too much throttle which is going to cost me a fortune but worth every pound.

You might be asked to do just that tomorrow!

I've just put a deposit down on this. Picking it up on Friday (1st of the month!) and I'm really looking forward to it. I had a drive in it, it's really easy to drive and comfortable. It's going to be my everyday car so it's important I can leave it outside overnight and that it's comfortable. It's also fairly practical, with a good sized boot(s) and storage pockets. I can also fit a roof rack for the bikes! I'll also add it to the hire fleet, so hopefully it can help pay for itself. So now I own three 2 seater cars!

Yes mate it's good to be back in a petrol powered car. She's not perfect but she's in pretty good shape for a 10 year old car.

Mrs B's new car. She said that she wanted a car that looked, 'tasty'. This is what she bought. She worries me sometimes, that woman.

I have a Monte Carlo blue F10 M5 with competition pack on order. Should have it in a few weeks time. I'll put some pics up when I get them. Can't wait and it will be good to be back in a V8. Currently running a F30 335d which is fantastic but not a V8!!!!
