Those who remember me, my long term MX-5 has gone and after a period of working away and commuting (in an A5 3.2 biggrin), I'm now back in a sports car. smile

Had this just over 2 months -

That looks really nice. I like the 996 anniversary?? wheels on it. They look great.

Thanks. smile They were wheels used on the 996 anniversary, but I think they're just called 18" Carrera 5-spoke wheels or some such! They're a non-OE colour and have been done a brighter silver, so look very bright when clean.

I have a Monte Carlo blue F10 M5 with competition pack on order. Should have it in a few weeks time. I'll put some pics up when I get them. Can't wait and it will be good to be back in a V8. Currently running a F30 335d which is fantastic but not a V8!!!!
I'll keep an eye out for you. I have an F10 550i now, 10 plate Imperial Blue SE, with an F10 M5 exhaust system (although I kept the 550i tips so it looks stock).

Only picked this up Monday night. First outing last night. Impressed by how it goes. Bodywork needs a fair bit of tidying up...

Purchased at the turn of the year, it's ok.

Dentless removal
Pro detail
OPS to replace cobra system

Then maybe
Blistien B8 with H&R springs unless I'm bored of it by then

'it's ok', not sounding too enthusiastic? Loved the look of the MK4's, and as a young lad always wanted one. They may not be the quickest but boy do they sound good.

Hasn't been the most perfect start to a relationship, probs after purchase etc. various things fixed. Beadles VW a shower of ste... Just not the greatest purchase and could have bought better. Others I was looking at S3 sportback, 130i, but couldn't find year/spec.

MK4 I think is better looking.

Miss better build of my 59 plate 123d M Sport. Car was good on the trip to Le Mans, just DSG seems to have a shall I, shan't I attitude when in sports mode. A few have said get a Revo DSG map.

JKM will look after it going forward, but also got DMS and Regal near me.

It does sound nice, I'll give you that smile

Hopefully as it's tweaked and cleaned I'll love it more.

Wheel refirb at wheel specialist Fareham soon and fit Michelin PSS

Well, after faffing around for a while looking at Porsche's, GTR's, R8's and a few others, I've finally gone and bought something. While all the cars I've looked at have all been very brilliant in their own way, I've still felt like I'd miss my Exige S.

I have of course gone and bought another Exige! This one is a New(ish) V6 model. I absolutely love it! A big step forwards from my S2 Exige. It feels much more planted and less skittish, makes a nice V6 noise (with Quicksilver Exhaust system) and feels great!
