Had some fun with a lovely orange 350Z earlier, lots of mods done with taste. I followed it on the M27 from junction 9 - 4. I got a thumbs up too! lol

Every 350Z driver I put my hand up to always gives a wave back.
Are they just generally nice people?

Saw a white Murci Roadster on the A3 this afternoon, heading north going past Clanfield. Wonder who that could have been.......?

I know, but saying that I'd seen "Pete's white & carbon wrapped purple Murci" seemed a bit long-winded at the time. There, I've done it now anyway! smile

Frankly, the fact he de-purpled it is absolutely criminal. I only forgive him as obviously the Alzheimer's has taken hold now.

Some sort of small white van on the bypass near the new holes bay firestation. I was on the supermomo alongside you, whoever it was!

Wow, my first spot! It is a little loud, perhaps...biggrin

However the circumstances following my exit from Tescos are not so joyous. On the way back to Marchwood, the water pump decided that an external water cooling system was much more fun, and it proceeded to wee itself all over the road. Luckily I had just turned off the roundabout to head down the old road so was able to coast it to a stop. It would appear the main bearing has expired, so the RAC towed me to 1 mile to home (after a 2 hour wait...). I've started to take to old one off, but stripped two bolts, been on their it would appear since 1994...At least nothing else came off!

So that's this week's job then! New pump on order...much swearing at car to be done.

Now quite tempted with anew car...a Volvo V70 T5? Practical and reasonably quick? Hmmmm

Cheers all,

Scott

My daughter was in the passenger seat and jumped as you went passed laugh
Its pretty subtle (apart from the noise), I only twigged as I remembered the "ONO" plate from a readers ride thread.

I`ve had an S60, albeit with a D5 engine, for 6 years/80,000 miles and its been really cheap to keep (certainly compared to my GTV) There are plenty of remaps that will take the T5 up to just below 300BHP, which is nice biggrin

My apologies to your daughter then! I'm fairly amazed it's still going and everything still works (well, apart from the water pump!), not a bad way to spend £500!

As for the Volvo, 300bhp eh? That sounds like fun...Off to do a quick scan in the classifieds...
