Spotted cars in south coast region [vol. 2]

M27 this AM - dark blue BMW E60 estate with a white smiley on the right of the rear window. I waved but you didnt see
On a side note, does anyone have any spare white smileys? I have 3 black 2 inchers that I was given but my car is dark and they would be hidden. PM me if interested in a swap!

I went to the leafy part of East Hampshire today and in the carpark of Keydell Nurseries spotted a newish silver Transit van which was sporting a smiley on the left hand rear.
Bit of a Specsavers moment there Graham, it was my Renault Trafic although thinking about it all vans these days do look the same from behindEdited by BIRMA on Thursday 4th September 10:47

Spotted a Tesla Model S driving around Gosport this evening.
I've seen an influx of these lately. One locally, one in Cornwall and a few in London this week. They look great, I'd love one. After having seen so many big engined saloons and 4x4s around Central London this weekend, you really have to wonder why people are still running big petrol engines for cities, I expect to see many more of these Teslas around the city soon.zed4 said:

I saw you today in London Dan with your wife, I was in the silver Vivaro with the redesigned back doors courtesy of a drink driver. I beebed and waved but was past you before you had time to realise who was beebing and waving.Had a run out in a Tesla S a couple of weeks ago; stupidly fast with performance that would rival an S63. The fit/finish was pretty good, but still not quite 'right' if you know what I mean - the google maps nav was cool, but was struggling to keep up, don't know what it would be like in an area with no 3G reception.
In spite of how intriguing all of the tech is, the range was the thing that dominated the conversation about it. I think the new line of plug in hybrids are probably the short term future, I reckon full electric cars as a sole vehicle is still a good 10 years away.

That was in Kensington I think. I heard a van beep and did catch a glimpse of somebody waving. I assumed no one in London would be waving at me!
Just told my girlfriend, she's very pleased she's my wife (sic) now, she's having a glass of wine to celebrate!
